Create Showcase @ Taking Flight

For the past three months, I have been working as a mentor on Taking Flight’s Create programme; which sees twelve aerialists work towards creating short works in progress.

Create was initially developed to support aerialists in building show ideas with a more theatrical approach, that went beyond the shorter aerial “act”. The aerialists work with industry mentors across theatre and dance. Mentors lead workshops in their discipline and work with the artists one on one to guide them through their creative process.

This year’s showcase is taking place on the 20th of June with shows at 7pm and 9pm. The showcase is open to the public. Come see what these amazing artists have been working on.
